SCFA was established through the vision of national-level sportsperson Sri G.R. Kiran, with the goal of providing professional training to budding athletes in and around Hyderabad. With support from several good Samaritans, this dream became a reality.
The academy focuses on grooming amateur players into professional athletes who compete at state and national levels. Sri G.R. Kiran, a postgraduate in engineering and a passionate sportsman, believes that social service and sports development must go hand in hand.

Tennis stars like Pranjala, Jahnavi Reddy, Raheen, Deepa, Kaushik Reddy have competed nationally. Notably, Sania Mirza was once a fitness trainee at SCFA.
